Objective & Scope of the Program
B.Sc. (Aeronautics) a degree is designed to enable the student to acquire the necessary qualification to enter into the job market in any field of Aviation such as Traffic Control, Crew & Manpower scheduling, In-Flight Service Department, Security, Civil Works Department, Line and Major Maintenance Department of Engineering etc. It is also possible that the graduates (B.Sc. Aeronautics) enter the field of Non- Technical Streams in the Aviation Industry like Commercial Dept., In-Flight Service Dept., Ground Support Dept., Security Dept., etc. It is therefore imperative that such a degree course would help the students to make their career in Aviation. All government & private aviation organizations and aircraft & spacecraft manufacturing and testing units generally require the trained candidates. Aviation industry offers challenging careers and excellent growth opportunities along with competitive salaries. After the completion of the degree in B.Sc. Aeronautics candidates are eligible for not only in design & production of aircraft and spacecraft but also in the turbine, high-speed trains (bullet trains), flying gadgets, and turbine production & design.
How the Training is imparted to B.Sc Aeronautics Students by Us ?
During the training, lessons are imparted for the service and maintenance of aircraft so as to ensure flight safety. A three-year full-time program of  B.Sc Aeronautics is being offered by Wingsss College of Aviation Technology, Pune. The Program is Affiliated to University of Mumbai, We have one of the best Infrastructure facility in India , some of which includes Practical Hands-on Training on LEARJET 25D, FOKKER F 27, HUL 26 PUSHPAK & BELL 47 HELICOPTER, Dedicated Training Laboratories of Electrical Labs, Electronic Labs, Aircraft Instrument Labs, and Radio Navigation as well as Aircraft Battery Shops and Aircraft Composite Structure Shop. Different Types OF Engines Viz. MIG 21 A/C - (R-11F2S-300 ENGINE) , TURBOJET ENGINE (AVON MK-207) (RR) (DISMANTLE), TURBOSHAFT ENGINE (TV2-117A), TURBOJET ENGINE (IL-SO-3-W), Continental C90-8F & Helicopter Engine. The Only Institute in western India, having Excellent Infrastructure Including Aircraft Hangar, Workshop, and Well-Stocked Library to supports teaching and learning. We are among the few institutes that offer training on heavy aircraft and jet engines.
How we develop professionals ?
In the beginning, the training focus is on basic information about aircraft rules and regulations which then cover general engineering and maintenance. The subjects taught include aerodynamics or theory of flight, metallurgy, electronics, handling sophisticated equipment and practical work in machine rooms and on aircraft engines. In the later semesters, the study focuses on specific areas like light aircraft, heavy aircraft, piston engines, jet engines, or helicopters.

Those who qualify the examination will be awarded a Degree in B.Sc Aeronautics from University of Mumbai.
