Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible to issue Certificate of Flight Release/Maintenance in respect of aircraft, engine, instruments, electrical, radio system which certifies that the aircraft is airworthy and fit for flying. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer plays a major role among the maintenance personnel to keep the aircraft `airworthy` all the time. No civil aircraft engaged in flying for hire and reward can be operated without being certified as airworthy by the aircraft maintenance engineer holding AME licensed in respective categories. the maintenance of modern sophisticated aircraft`s call for high degree of technical knowledge competence and proficiency on the part of the concerned personnel. Tremendous responsibility lies upon the aircraft engineers who are certifying the modern sophisticated aircraft`s manned by experienced crew trained at high cost and great care carrying the precious load of ever increasing no of passengers.

Program Structure

Structure WCAT is offering CAR 147 Basic AME training in two Categories i.e. Category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) and Category B2 (Avionics) in line with DGCA’s regulations as per CAR 147 Basic Issue I dated 27 Dec 2017.

Admission Criteria & Process

10+2 pass in physics chemistry and mathematics.3 years diploma Mechanical. Electrical, Electronics, branch of engineering.with 50%. • This institute abides by the rules, regulations and amendments from DGCA issued from time to time. Any revision which comes from DGCA is bound to be applicable to the students and their parents and the institute. • Students/Guardian will also be bound by other terms and condition of the institution imposed from time to time.


• Admission will be on the basis of 10+2 marks and entrance examination and personal interview.• After selection student will receive admission form and admission letter by post/courier.• Candidate has to send back the admission form along with below mention documents.• Admission fee, medical certificate and affidavit 1&2 duly executed.• All fee paid are to be in favor of Wingsss College of Aviation Technology, payable at Pune.
