WCAT is the leading Institute in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, which is a licensed course approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence is also recognized internationally by the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO).

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering can be done with our institute along with B.Sc. Aeronautics which is affiliated to University of Mumbai with specializations Viz. Mechanical and Avionics. The curriculum is a mix of theory and practice where students get ample exposure to the aviation industry owing to regular field /Industrial/ Sectorial visits.

Different Types of Engines Viz. MIG 21 A/C – (R-11F2S-300 ENGINE) , TURBOJET ENGINE (AVON MK-207) (RR) (DISMANTEL), TURBOSHAFT ENGINE (TV2-117A), TURBOJET ENGINE (IL-SO-3-W), continental C90-8F & Helicopter Engine.
Practical oriented training and delivering quality education through competent faculty with experience in civil and defense establishment including Air Force, Airlines and MRO’s.
Separate Hostel accommodation available for Boy’s and Girl’s with multiple mess facility.

Our Aircrafts

Institute has its own well maintained 52 seater FOKKER F 27 Aircraft, a 9 seater LEARJET 25D Aircraft & a BELL 47 G HELICOPTER for In-house Practical Training.

Lab Facility

Institute has an excellent workshop comprising of fitting sections, machine shop, carpentry, welding facilities.

Library

Well Stocked Library with access to Reference Books, CDs, and Study Material. Trainees can also avail of the library facility.
